Surgery on 6/21 and had my first fill on 7/14. i have questions
About 2 weeks after surgery i started to get my appitite back. I started eating griiled or bakes chicken. I felt that i was not getting full. I called and made an appointment for the fill, which i got today. After the fill i was feeling a little off. My head started hurting. I took some tylenol and the headache went away. I had a little baked chicken and i am still not full!!
I am getting a little discouraged because i feel this is not working for me. Within the 1st week of surgery i lost 10lbs and as of today i gained 3 back. not sure what to do or how to feel. HELP!!!

Hey, don't worry, hang in there. It takes time for some people to feel full. As I recall, it took some people months to find their "Sweet spot". But I did not now the Doctor give out a fill so quickly.

kesh22,
Try to be patient, you need time for your stomach to heal, you probably shouldn't be eating that type of food yet. You have come this far already, so you don't want any setbacks. Your stomach is still in a fragile state and you need time for the internal stitches to heal, and you can run the risk of popping them. Everyone is different and it will take time to feel the effects. Some people feel it right away, and others take a little time this is why everyone isn't just given a certain amount and they are finished.. Trust Dr. Allam's advice and by all means ask questions at his office and do what you are doing by posting your questions. Try to make it to the support group meeting this month because I bet you will learn a lot from all of us there.
Don't lose faith, you will get there eventually.

Thanks so much for all of your support. I will be attending the meeting next tuesday.
I do have a problem with patience. I will slow down and be more patient.
Thanks
