Hi everyone,

I was kinda on the fence that I was either going to bail-out the closer I came to my surgery date, or get very anxcious & excited about it. Well...I've been ready as ever for the past 3 months. I'm very excited & can't wait to start my "new life".
As I've mentioned at the meeting, I have started weekly Tap dance classes (which are a blast & VERY funny!) & recently become the newest member of The Long Island Society of Paranormal Research (not "mainstream", but fun & exciting all the same). My 1st investigation started w/a brand new night-vision flashlight that worked perfectly well before I left the house & didn't work when I arrived at our location. And, the investigation also lead us on a non-stop 2 hour hike in the woods. Exhausted & out of shape, but I was determined to keep up if it killed me! Well...I kept up & I'm still alive & kicking.
I will be joining Core Dynamics gym in Water Mill prior to my surgery date as well. My goal is to be "more" active w/my children than I am now. I've always been an active, outdoors person & now, it's "weather-permitting". I've a list of "family Adventures" that I'd like to experience w/my girls. That's another chapter in itself.

See you at the next meeting!
Anita

You sound like you are already having a blast. Just wait until you lose all the weight you will want to do more and more and not worry about thinking or saying to yourself I am going to do this if it kills me.

One thing I can say to you is that you are so much more active then I was before my surgery. That is going to be a big plus for you after surgery. It is so important to get up and walk, walk and walk. It helps so much after this surgery. Also going to a gym and working out will also help you before and afterwards that’s for sure. Sounds to me Anita that you are already on the right path before surgery and I believe that you will get right back on the path heading in the right direction to being a successful Loser.

Keep us posted on all your adventures they are exciting to read.
