I got this recipe from another site - they are delicious!!!!
1 generuos cup whole unsalted almonds or pecans or walnuts
2 Tbsp sugar free maple syrup
Stir to coat & drop into following mixture
1/2 cup baking Splenda
2-4 Tbsp Cinnamon (depending on preferance - I use 2 tbsp.)
Stir & spread out on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 5 min. Stir & bake for 5 more min. Cool completely & store in an airtight container.
They are great as a sweet treat or chopped & sprinkled on oatmeal or even in chicken salad. Just remember they are not a calorie free food & enjoy in moderation.
