my but we have become a chatty little group. It's good to see everyone posting to the board. I would just like to repeat the advice given to anyone thinking of having the surgery. Don't watch these talk shows that have people sitting there giving advice on something they know absolutely NOTHING about. Go to a support group meeting, anywhere. I happen to think ours are pretty damn good and recommend them to anyone. Research the internet and jot down any questions you have. Ask them either here or at the support meeting. Dr. Allam and his team will take all the time you need to answer your questions, and calm your fears. I had my surgery 3/20/03 and would do it again in a heartbeat. There have been a few bumps in the road, but no journey is without a few bumps. See you all next week.
