That is more like a personal choice, I am a year and a few months, I do have cocktails and they don't bother me. A small amount can go a long way though, if you want some, I suggest you try it at home first and see how your body reacts. Remember alcohol has a lot of sugar in it and can cause you to dump. So use common sense, and enjoy it if you want...........

I had some champagne at a wedding got one sip in the gas from it killed me ..

just FYI
then last weekend I found out i can drink rum and diet coke .. great so much for not drinking for 7 years..lol had to celebrate had a great time.. back to no drinking.,.. i did get drunk much faster ...wooo hooo im a cheap date now

It is so true we do seem to get drunk a lot faster. I know that I haven't drunk in years. Then I had a drink over the summer. It went right to my head. I had a few more and I was pretty wasted to say the least. My friend and partner in crime that would be Elaine http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v237/LRJD/1215.gif said to me to drink water. I did and within a half hour later, I was sober. WOW what a ride that was. One minute your drunk and 30 minutes later your sober.

So what I am trying to say is just be careful what you drink and how much of it. Most importantly, make sure you are not driving. Even though I felt sober, I know I wasn't really.
