Hi, everyone just wanted to let you all know that I spoke with Nanette and she was doing pretty well. She is staying tonight and will be home tomorrow just in time for the snowstorm.

Just wanted to give you all an update on her.

Hey all!

I am home, and sore, but all-in-all, quite amazed at how well I am doing! I walk a lot like my grandfather did, and sit in a recliner a lot (like my Dad did!), but the worst part so far has been the BOREDOM and not the pain. That has been easily managed with Vicodin. (Sometimes, only 1/2 tablet!)

I guess I picked a great time to be stuck at home! Eveyone else is, too. The snow is gorgeous when you don't have to drive in it or shovel it! We've been watching a lot of movies, and playing a lot of board games. I showered for the first time yesterday, and was SHOCKED when I took the bandages off! I have a tiny tummy! (And to think it's still swollen!) I called Dr. Allam to say thanks, and tell him that, though I liked him a lot before, I love him now! He said, "Ah. You must have been naked!" My husband laughed and asked how he should take that!! lol!

Thank you to all of you who called and wrote! Your well-wishes are much appreciated. I am planning to be at the support group meeting, though I may not stay for the whole night. I do get tired more quickly.

Oh, my goodness I forgot that Terry was going in today. I think with all the snow it threw me off damn it.

I don’t think I can get up there to visit her either I guess she will have to do with just a phone call from me. Sorry.
