Surgery Date

Hello everyone. This is my first post. I’ve been lurking for a while.

But, wanted to let you all know that I have a surgery date now! July 18th!

I’ve been researching this surgery for a couple of years now and decided it was time. I started this journey with Dr. Allam just a few months ago. I can’t believe Im not nervous at all yet. It just seems so matter-of-fact to me. I’ve had one "OMG" moment. But so far I’m feeling totally ready.

My husband and I live in Southampton with our little six month old baby girl. Were pretty new to the area, moved here just a couple of years ago. My hubby is my only family support right now. So I wouldn’t mind having some positive uplifting visitors.


I haven’t been able to make it to the meetings so far. It’s been hard because my husband works in Sag Harbor. I wouldn’t get to the meeting until around 7 at the earliest. I wish I had been able to get to one before my surgery. But the 18th is Monday and that Tuesday is the meeting. Just missed it!

I am so glad to see that you are posting here after our little talk the other night.

You will see that we are a great bunch of people. You will get lots of support from us so don't you worry. Any questions that you have or concerns just post here. I am sure that someone will get back to you.

Congrats on your decision to have your surgery. I too waited 3 years to have mine, and its the best decision I ever made. It is a lifetime commitment to you and you should be very proud of yourself for making it.

I would love to visit you, but I too am having surgery, tomorrow to be exact. So you will be in my thoughts and prayers.......

This message is to wish my friend Elaine good luck on her surgery today.

For those of you who don't know Elaine is having her Tummy Tuck done today. I spoke to her a few times yesterday and she seems to be in pretty good spirits. She gave her husband my number to call me after the surgery so I will keep you posted as soon as I know.

Good luck my loser friend may you have a speedy and painless recovery as can be.
