My Surgery Date

Just remember one thing when you are there at the hospital. Get up and walk walk walk.
Even if you don't feel like it push yourself to do so. It will help you more then you think.

I really did not want visitors either. My husband came and that was fine because I felt crumby and I had someone to help me. I know it was best, I didn't want visitors. But.......Elaine popped in. She was not like a regular visitor. I did not know her at all but I ended up having a bunch of questions. It was so nice to talk to someone who had been in my bed a week earlier. You don't really know some of the questions that come up until you are there. I was glad to meet her and get some of my questions answered. It was just so nice. We will respect your wishes, but keep phone numbers handy in case you change your mind.

Rest assured that you are in the most capable hands on this PLANET!! And you are already in our hearts and our prayers....and we're all here if you need us. I'm right in Southampton so if you change your mind about visitors I'm only 10 minutes away....

And remember what Regina said...WALK WALK WALK. I couldn't sleep well in the hospital so I was up walking about every hour or so...(god knows you can only watch so much television!) And walk after you get home too....the more the merrier!

You'll be fine...trust us!
