Sorry Gotta Brag Again !!

Thursday will be one week since my surgery. Still have the staples in for god's sake and I've lost 16 POUNDS. That's right I said 16 POUNDS !!! I've read that sometimes depression sets in after the surgery..... HELLO !!!! What's to be depressed about losing 16 pounds! If this is what it feels like to lose weight I'll take it!!! I haven't been in the 200 pd zone in forever!! WOO HOO !!!!!

Thanks guys! I lost one more pound today!! It amazes me everytime I get on the scale and see another pound or so gone. It's almost weird. But I love it!

Down to 20pds today.. Woo Hoo. Feeling good too. Just wish my wrist would stop hurting from the IV. Does anyone know what the majic number is for the sugar intake? I was also wondering about the vitamins. Why can't we just take a regular vitamin without chewing it. I hate those flinstones. Tried getting the liquid ones even with the pharmacist flavoring them they were nasty. Any ideas????

Hi Catrina Woot_Emoti you are such a 23_29_106. You keep bragging to us.

As far as the vitamins I would suggest you call Pat on Monday and ask her if you can take a regular one. I know I take them now but I was on those gross Flintstones for a while. She would be the best person to tell you what to do.

She will also be able to tell you about the sugar. Everyone is different. I didn't go over 6 grams of sugar in something but that was my choice. I wasn't told that by Dr Allam or Pat it was my decision. So check with her on both things. Good luck you are melting away to nothing LOL. We won't recognize you at the meeting this month. LOL

Thanks Regina. 22pds today! I did call Pat but haven't heard back from her. I'll try her again on Monday. 6gms of sugar seems very low though. I know that's your choice but I think i need alittle more then that lol. Anyway how come it doesnt seem like anyone comes on here? As many people as there is at the meeting you would think this place would be hoppin????? See you at the next meeting!

I think I remember Pat telling me that we need to take the chewable right after surgery because the pouch can't handle a regular size vitamin when swallowed whole. Congratulations on 22 lbs.!!! You must be thrilled!!!

Congrats! I wanted to comment about the Vitamins! I too hate the Flinstones vitamins but I found something GREAT! In BJs they sell a liquid multi vitamin and it doesn't taste bad and it is Bio available right away and you can tell because after you drink it your face might feel flush due to the niacin in the vitamins. I had my surgery Dec. 6 and am down 90lbs! It's a wonderful feeling! Keep up the Great work! Weeza

Thanks guys! Welcome back KIM! Weeza that's great weight loss woo hoo! As far as liquid bought them already centruim anyway. They are gross. And Kim I know what your saying about the pouch being to small but I take my regular blood pressure medicine. Ive had to take aspirin too. So who know's. Maybe they dont break up good? I don't know but I'm going to call Pat again
