Hi Everybody!

Surgery is scheduled for April 21st. Hard to be psyched when nervous - but trying not to waste my energy. I'm sure all of you who have had the surgery know the feeling.

Kim I can understand and I'm sure so do a lot of us here. Your right we get nervous. In the end when it is all over with then we get excited. I know I was nervous and heck it is natural to be if you weren’t then I would worry. Just try to think of all the positive things that will come from having this surgery. I know it has changed my life 110% for the good.

Anytime you need to vent chat or whatever come here and post. Sometimes by just posting and writing what you are feeling helps. Good luck to you and talk with you soon. B_WINK2.gi

How wonderful that you have decided to take the journey. I wish you much success with your surgery. You are in good hands with Dr. Allam and his staff. Just take it one day at a time and you will be just fine.

Kim,

I know exactly what you are feeling. I felt the same exact way right up until the anesthologist came in the room. It is 100% natural feelings. I had my surgery on Thursday, April 7th and am doing pretty well. I got out of the hospital Sunday because my white blood cell counts were a little on the high side so I had to stay an extra day.

You are in good hands and the nurses are absolutely terrific.

Kim: All the best to you. You will be fine. With God plus Dr. Allam you can't have anything but success. I am a year out January 26th and still can't believe how quickly the year has gone. I was never as glad to have a hospital appointment as this time. It was like going to have a baby! A good outcome afterward, not like other surgeries where you're sick and need something "repaired". I remember Dr. Allam telling me "I'll do my job" and you just thank God, or something to that effect. It worked very well. Will be thinking of you on the 21st. Maybe I'll see you at the meeting. I will be there.
