Hello Everyone.
Well, The day is coming and I am getting nervous, anxious and sort of scared. I don't know what to expect after the operation and am trying to get as much accomplished before I go in since I will not be able to do it when I get home. How soon after the surgery did everyone start driving, going to work, etc?

Christine the count down is starting. xpwink Don't worry girlfriend you are in good hands with Dr. Allam.
First let me also say that if you weren't feeling all those emotions then I would think that there was something wrong with you. Guess what there is not. luxhello.g You are feeling what everyone feels pretty much before the surgery as the time nears. So don't worry you are not different. 11zwinky You will be different after surgery though. YOU WILL BE ON THE LOSING SIDE WITH US!!! Woot_Emoti
As far as trying to get things done before you go well I would do this. Just make sure you have the following things that I can think of off the top of my head.
Protein Drink
Jell-O sugar free (any flavors)
Ice Pops sugar free
Water (if you buy it)
Tea De cafe
I'm sure if anyone else reads this and I have forgotten things they will post it here. 11zwinky I also bought crystal light to drink. My favorite is the Peach Ice Tea one.
Driving I guess from what I can remember I didn't drive until after the Dr Allam removed my staples ok maybe just a little longer after that. xpwink Hey I was soaking up the help com.hap26 .
I don't work but some people have gone back a week after surgery and some 2 weeks after. It all depends on how you feel. I think Dr. Allam will tell you when you can go back.
Just try to relax I know it is easier said then done but everything will work out. 11zwinky Good Luck and I hope to see you with my 0zx1 at the hospital the day after your surgery.
