Hi Everyone,
I Was Just Wondering How You Old Time Losers Felt After 3 Weeks? I'm Just 3 Weeks Out And Still Feel Very Sore Near Wear My Scars Are Mostly The One On The Upper Left Side. It Feels Sore From The Inside, Not The Out. When I Bend, sit Or Twist A Certain Way. Is This Normal, Am I Just Still Healing? I Figured The Soreness Would Be Gone By Now, Just A Dream Huh?
Otherwise, I Feel Great!! I'm Walking Every Morning, I Haven't Had A Problem With Any Foods Yet. I Start A Little More Solid Tomorrow, Cheese, Tuna, Eggs, Stuff Like That. If Anyone Has Some Interesting Recipes For The Next 3 Weeks Let Me Know. I'm Looking Forward To Chewing On Something, I Must Say!!
Oh the pain!! I had severe pain for SIX weeks. I kept in close contact with Dr. Allam and I suggest you do too. He checked me several times and was ready to do more tests. He was perplexed as was I. I could not move, put on my shoes, even take care of personal needs without being in severe pain. But, it went away. It didn't get better little by little, it just disappeared. What a relief! It never came back. Whatever it was, it was part of my healing process and it is over now. I had never heard of it with anyone else at group but I had it. I was not thrilled at all, but all I can say it, "This too shall pass". Then you will feel like a million bucks. Good Luck,
Rose

Hi_ Can you believe it's three weeks already. The incision on the left was the sorest for me too. I couldn't sleep on my stomach for almost two months after surgery. Please check with Dr. Allam to make sure you don't have an infection but if not it's normal to be sore. Your body is sore from surgery and you are severely limiting your intake so it's a double wammy. This too shall pass and it's all worth it. Keep up the good work.

I was pretty sure I had developed a hernia on my left side because the soreness was so constant. Took about six weeks for it to go away but definitely keep in touch with the doctor's service. Better they reassure you than something truly be wrong and ignored. Life gets better!

Oh the good ole pain on the left side. Even though it was sooooo long ago for me I do remember that. It does go away with time. I remember that it was almost 2 weeks after my surgery before I could seep in bed. Just remember that if you are not sure about something that you are experiencing call Dr Allam. That is what he is there for. Good luck to you. 11zwinky

Terrie,
I was sore for about six weeks but it does get better.Keep up the good work and don't try to eat to quick or fast. If you can't eat it the first time stoo and try in a few days.
