Everyone Is Talking About Drinking Coffee. I Thought I Wouldn't Be Able To Have My Starbucks Anymore. When Are You Able To Start Drinking Coffee Again?

Ok Terri I have to say I that I stopped drinking it before my surgery. I didn't start to drink a cup of it until 5 months after surgery.

Now that I am 17 months out I do drink more then 2 cups a day. That doesn't mean that it is the right or wrong thing to do. Just what I did and how I did it.

My advice to you and to all that are just in the new stages is to just focus on just following the papers that Pat gives you.

I think to be successful after surgery you need not rush into things. Yeah it gets boring but in the long run it will be well worth the boring part. So just take one day at a time and focus on what you can have then rather what you can't have.11zwinky

HI- Good luck with everything. I've been drinking decaf tea with equal since day one of my surgery. Ask Pat but I think decaf is okay. It was 3 months out before i had starbucks and even then it was decaf no sugar skimmilk. Guess what when you fit into clothes you haven't fit into in years the starbucks isn't as important!!
