Hi All,
Thought I would update my journal a bit. For those of you who don't know me, I had my surgery on Oct 7, 2004. The begining of my new and happier life. As of today I am down a total of 72 lbs, which is by the way is 296 sticks of butter (thats alotta fat i tell ya). I am now under 200 lbs for the first time in 15 years. Woot_Emoti The weight came off faster than I could have ever imangined. I have started to plateau now, kinda suprised since I still have about 60 more pounds to go. I think my body just has to adjust to the new me and then things will pick up again. I am however ok with the slow down. Years ago, this would have been the reason to go off my diet and put it all back on........not this time baby. yay I am in controll now, not food !!!! Well, I just thought I would share my happiness with you guys.... I will probably share again on Tues at the support group meeting, I can't seem to stop sharing these days............Later later ~elaine

It was good to see you at Dr Allams ofc this past week. I forgot to tell you to enjoy your trip but I know you will enjoy yourself! You have been such an inspiration to me and to the others on this board. I just wanted to say thank you again for your kindness in visiting me in the hospital. I know you and Regina do go visit "newbies" and I think the world of both of you. Enjoy your vacation!

Keep up the good work. I have hit a plateau myself but I'm not giving up.
See you at the meeting.
