Toni,
Congrats on your surgery date.... yay So let the journey begin. No major advice to give as I am only out about 3 months now. I would not change it for the world and would also do it again tomorrow.
Not everyone is the same, so you will have to do things your way. Some people start curbing their diet to get themselves ready, I however did not. I ate all my favorite foods and said goodbye when each one was gone. I never looked back and am happy to not eat most of them now as some are just no longer appealing to me. If you are a coffee drinker, I would quit soon, I had problems giving up my caffine, and I didn't need to deal with it after surgery, so I did it 2 weeks before.
Read your literature and come to the group meeting on the 18th, there is alot of experience in that room and all stages of the surgery. Any questions can be asked there and you will have an abundance of support. Good luck, you will be in my prayers..........~elaine :)

I want to wish Toni and Kristin the best of luck with there surgery. My prayers will be with you. You are in very good hands with dr201 Dr Allam. Also the staff at Southampton is great. I didn't have any problem with them.
I think that you both should enjoy whatever it is now and say good-bye Regular_Wa to that food for a while. After surgery as you know you won't be eating like that. I know I didn't even think about food afterwards. Follow all that you are told by the Pat and the nurses com.62 at the hospital. Get up and walk versch050 walkversch050 walkversch050 . It is part of your recovery. The more you walkversch050 the better you will feel each day.
If you don't mind can you private message me your last names? I would so very much like to call you to check in to see how you are doing after surgery.
Good luck and you both will soon be a loser! That's a good thing.
