Lap banders remember that feeling after you first got it done and you felt like your stomach was being strangled and the slight nauseas feeling..... well 4 months out I started getting it again. I don't know why, it started today but I have had very low stomach pain since mon the 18 on and off then was sick and threw up once over the weekend. Now I am getting better from that and this feeling set on today. Has anyone else had that feeling reoccur? I have every intentoin of calling the office sometime tomorrow so dont worry about that :)

Hi Amanda,

First of all you are right about calling Dr. Allam and ckecking it out.

When was the last time you had a fill and how many cc's did you receive?
Do you know what size band you have and how many cc's you have total? Have you started eating anything different? I know that some days I am more restricted than other days and even times of the day can make a difference too!!! One day you may be able to tolerate something and other days you might not be able to keep it down. You should always make sure that you chew properly and don't get over confident and slip on chewing because it can come back to haunt you!!! There are so many things that can change so it will be a good call tomorrow to see what Dr. Allam has to say, please let us know how you make out, ok?

Good luck,

Jamie

oops I forgot I wrote this. Just an update I was sick, very sick, lol. I had broncitis (sp), sinus infections, a sore throat and a stomach bug so thank goodness that is over with. It lasted from first symptom to gone, about 3 weeks. I was finally able to eat last night and keep it down and I had breakfast and a coffee this morning so it is over! :D

Hi, Amanda thanks for updating us on how you are doing. I am glad that it had nothing to do with the surgery but sorry that you had to be sick.

Hope to see you at this months meeting on Tuesday June 16.

By the way, your updated photos look great.:)

Sorry about that Amanda I posted that when I was in a rush and never checked my post before posting it as I usually do.

I have corrected both post mine and Jamie’s so no one else gets it wrong. ;)

It's okay I went to the neighborhood watch meeting and it was a waste of time. COPE is no more so we have to contiue doing what we have been and noone there was happy about it. I should have come to the meeting with you guys instead. On another note though it was a false alarm I still am having issues with eating and holding liquids down. I can drink about a 1/2-1 bottle of water a day depending on how much comes up. I am attemping cream of rice with bananas as I type and so far so good so I hoping for it to stay down. I went for an x-ray 2 nights ago and it was stat, but we are still waiting on the report that is on the dr.s desk waiting to be approved (says BAB Radiology). So I am hopeful and hugry and thirsty, lol ;)
