April 23 is my new birthdate

I just got my pre op date and I am scheduled for surgery on April 23. The start of a new healthier me. I read the diet required the day before surgery, I wonder if It would be ok to start it days earlier.

Great News Congratulations. You will soon be on your way to a new and healthier you. If you have any questions or concerns please go ahead and ask us. That’s what we are here for. :D I hope that you will be making it to our meeting this month. Make sure you also take a full before picture of yourself. Trust me you are going to want it a few months later. ;)

You are right, this will be the best decision you make for yourself. You are starting out right by posting and asking us questions, because we have been through it all and know what you are talking about.

As far as the diet questions, you should have no problem, but you should clarify it with Pat, our nutritionist or call the office and ask them just to be sure. Any medical questions should go through them also.

Please keep us posted and let us know what you are thinking because it can get a little confusing at times and we can help.
