Pain is back

Hi Amanda, did you call the office to speak with Dr. Allam? He is the best one who can tell you about the pain you are having. We can only tell you about certain things here and medical questions are not one of them sorry. Those questions are for the doctor only. Some of us can tell you that we might have had similar pain like your describing and it was a gas pocket but your pain and what someone else might have had can be two different things. I would suggest calling and if it is that bad then go to the ER. Please keep us posted on the outcome of this. Thanks and I hope that you understand about us not being able to answer medical questions. Thanks. ;)

Sorry to hear about your pain, but Regina is right about contacting the office to see what their professional opinion is. If you can't reach anyone at the office, go to the hospital so they can have a look and procede from there.

last time i called he just said it would go away.

its not gas I dont think gas goes around that way or down that low. I am going to call on monday if it isnt better. It has been back since tuesday so i really dont think it is gas pain.

I am not saying that it is gas I am saying that when I had that kind of pain that is what it was for ME. This is why we don’t answer questions like this because we don't know. Dr Allam is the only one that can answer that. ;)

If you don't mind Amanda, can you refresh my memory on when and what surgery you had. I sometimes get that CRS at my age LOL

Amanda if your pain is so bad then don't wait until Monday to call. If you are that uncomfortable go to Southampton ER and let them check you. They will contact Dr. Allam if they find anything.

Oh I didnt think you were saying it was gas, I know what you went :)

I had lap band on feb 5th. i dont think it is er bad yet, i am just really uncomfortable and would hate to waste a trip for another it will go away, lol

Thanks for posting back to me Amanda. I was wondering what surgery you had and when you had it. I’m glad that you understood what I was trying to say. ;)

If you are still not feeling well tomorrow call Pauline at the office. Don't worry about anything or don't hesitate to call. Dr. Allam would rather know if his patients were having any discomfort then them sitting home guessing what it is. Even if you call and he tells you don't worry it will go away then at least you can rest assure that it is nothing to worry about.:)

Hi Amanda,

I also think your best bet is to keep in touch with Dr. Allam and his office. Since you are scheduled for Monday and if it isn't that bad, you should be able to wait, but again if it seems to worsen go to the ER and let them have a look. You shouldn't have to go through constant pain without having it checked. If the symptoms warrent it they will contact Dr. Allam to have a look. At any rate, Monday will be here shortly and hopefully the "good doc" will have some answers to help ease your mind and pain.

I saw dr allam and he assured me it is not from surgery. its muscular so i just am going to have to wait it out i guess. hopefully it keeps going away a little bit each day like its been :)
