Blood Donation

Prior to surgery I was a blood donor-I was wondering if I will be able to donate again? I had RNY almost 7 months ago.

Hi Lee,

I would ask Dr.Allam that question, but I really don't see why you wouldn't be able to donate blood at this point. I, myself like to donate blood when I see a local sign posted, even though I haven't done it lately I would think it would be fine.

I had my surgery in April 05 and my tummy tuck February 06. I gave blood in October 06 when they came to Amagansett and every 6 months since.
