Lost 5 bags of potatoes you find them you can keep them

I am so excited I have lost 25 lbs since my surgery on 6/16. My son compared it to bags of potatoes so I have lost 5 bags of potatoes and I don't want them back!!!! I love this little band of mine!!!!

Wow! That's a lot of weight isn't it? You are doing great! Keep up the great work! Next time you go to the store you should pick up 25 pounds of potatoes to see what it feels like. I see my daughter and I am amazed that I lost more than she weighs and no, I can't pick her up. Immagine??? I was carrying all that. It's pretty cool to have a visual and tactile comparison like your potates. How old is your son and how much does he weigh? LOL Wait until you can use that as a comparison. It's really cool.

He is 17 and weighs like 160 ish. So no I can't pick him up but I want to weigh as much as him one day.

Maybe since you are so newly out you can let others who have just started out about how you are doing. ;)

Tell us has it been hard. Did you have any problems since you have gotten the band? Do you miss food or do you have your mind in a place that you don't even think of food anymore.

Debbie glad you are doing so well......................I am amazed at my own progress, I feel like a new person..................I am 63 pounds lighter since my band on March 31. My energy level has increased and I'm just an overall happier person. 5 bags of potatoes?? LOL Thats wonderful-Just wait until that turns into a 50 pound bag of dog food! I remember thinking that to myself one day when I was fighting to get that huge bag in my cart at BJs.
