WOW ONE YEAR ALREADY! 010111610.

Can you believe it? Do you remember the first time you walked into the group. We had so many questions to ask you on why the band. Well you told us your reason. You brought lots of us bypass patients around explaining all about the band. We have watched you and we learned every month more and more, about how the lap band works thanks to you.

In one year’s time not only did you have the Lap Band surgery you also have been helping our group. You have helped resurrect our Message board by adding some great stories and starting some great topics for us to read and post to.
You have stepped up to the plate with helping me with our monthly newsletter and the message board. I want to take this time out to say THANK YOU JAMIE You have been a great asset to our board and our group. You are always there to help.

Here is to one whole year of being on the losing side and here is to many more years ahead of you to be just as successful as your first year.

Thanks again for everything. You are a very special person and I am honored to know you and to have you as a friend.

Don't forget to take that one-year 2photo1

Have a great day.

Congratulations Jamie. Way to go. I still have a lot to learn about the lap band procedure since I am a by-pass patient. I will learn more as I attend meetings I know. A year does pass very quickly . Big congrats to you and see you at next meeting. Many hands make the work light: thank you for your help to Regina. Special gal!

Hi everybody,

Thanks for all of the well wishes, but it has totally been my pleasure to be associated with this fine group of LOSERS. I get so much pleasure out of (hopefully) helping others with questions that most of us had when we were going through the process. I am sure everyone remembers how confusing everything was at first, and I think that the message board has come a long way and is an essential part of the success of either bariatric operation.

I have also never met or been associated with a finer group, but you bypass patients are still not going to get out of the " TUG OF WAR" contest at the summer picnic!!! LOL

I want to thank Dr. Allam and Pat for everything they have done for giving me a chance to live a healthier and happier lifestyle, and I will always be in thier debt and that includes the whole support group and everyone associated with it.

Thanks for all of the well wishes,

Jamie

Hey everyone,

Regina posed the question about which side gets Dr. Allam in the TUG OF WAR CONTEST. I may have come up with a solution!!! How about if the By-Pass Patients take his legs and the Lap Banders take his arms and we use him for the rope. That way whoever wins the contest gets to claim him for their side and he can still stay objective on the matter. (LOL)

Oh, that’s sounds like fun. com.hap26 I was thinking of something more on the lines of this two games. :D

This way gastric gets him first since after all he started doing the gastric first. Then you lap banders can get him for the next one. ;)
