Welcome to Hampton Bariatric Forums
Thank you for coming to our message board. We take pride in all we do
and would like it if you would join our family. Our members here have
had either Gastric Bypass Surgery or Lap Band Surgery preformed by Dr.
Allam at Southampton Hospital, Southampton NY.
Our message board is here to help everyone who has had or is thinking
about having either surgery. We are a friendly group and consider
ourselves as one big family. We would like to maybe help anyone who has
not decided on which surgery to have by answering questions that they
might have. To help in making their decision the right one for them.
We have a great support system here on this board along with a monthly
support group meetings which is held at the Hampton Bays Public
Library, Hampton Bays NY every third Tuesday of the month. At each of
our Support Group meetings our surgeon Dr. Allam and our nutritionist
Pat attend personally to answer any questions. We sometimes have
special guest that also come to our meetings. When you join this forum,
you will receive a monthly meeting reminder that will also include any
special guest that we might be having and what topics that might be
discussed at our meeting. We also send out to everyone a copy of our
monthly Newsletter for you to read. If any special events are
approaching, we will send you a reminder of that as well.
