Clothing Exchange

Hey everyone is the clothing exchange still in effect ???? Now that I have made it out of the 4x,3x,2x,and 1x size !!!! (YEAH----HOORAY) I am in desperate need of summer clothes size 18-20............cant believe it I havent been this size since high school some 21 years ago.

All of my pants/capris are all too big and baggy..........They really dont feel comfortable...........Could someone please tell me how to participate in the clothing exchange . Thank you

I will be at the support group meeting this Tuesday if anyone has any summer clothes size 18-20 maybe you could bring some. Thanks again Connie

I'll look. I'm not sure, but that may be the size I fell out of last week. LOL I'd really counted on those clothes fitting. They may be bigger, but I will check.

OK. I put a bag of clothes together for you. I'm not sure what will fit and what won't, but whatever doesn't fit you can just pass along. It's in the trunk of my car right now so if I forget to bring it in just remind me. ************************************************** ********
As an aside, from now on I will be giving my clothes that are too big to the clothing exchange here. I am a single mom and I know that no matter how much money you make it just kills to buy something you know isn't going to fit in a month or two. Also, I believe in reduce, reuse and recycle so I want to encourage others in the group to do the same. If you have clothes in different sizes please post them here. It would be great if we could start up a clothing exchange. Remember we are all one extended family.

It killed me to give away so much money's worth of clothes, but I donated all of them to charities.

Now I have NO capris and summer pants (I'm never wearing shorts again!). I have one pair of capris and that's it!

I'm still in a weird body-shape phase. My bottom is smaller than my top, so I'm wearing 18-20 tops and size large for the capris I have. My other pants (full length) are about a size 12.

Anyone with those sizes for either tops or bottoms, please contact me!!!!!!

Still looking for size 18-20 summer clothes capris,shirts etc. Thanks Isabell for the clothes you gave me at the last meeting ,they all fit fine. If anyone else has my size please let me know

what a great idea. this is the reverse of what I have always done which is give away the clothes that were too small because I just kept getting bigger. I had myself convinced that jeans I owned for over a year had started to " shrink " in the dryer and that was why my clothes were too small. I now know that I was getting bigger duh !!!!! anyway great idea, I hope to participate in this one day soon.

I'll have some more stuff for everyone to pick through at the next meeting. I can't believe how much stuff I've been through. I even have an evening gown that's a size 18 I didn't want to give up. LOL Maybe somebody can use it. See you next month.
