Wow, I just found out that I have shaved 17 points off of my BMI. Before my surgery I was at a BMI of 47 and now my BMI is 30. It's only been 6 months, but I feel great! I still have that whole thing where I still see myself as fat, but I may always have that. I'm really excited now because I am one point away from just being overweight. When I began this journey I was categorized as morbidly obese. This is a new short term goal for me. I'm really hoping that I get to normal in the next 6 months, but for now I would settle just for overweight. LOL
I'm going on my daughter's school field trip to Dorney park tomorrow. She is so proud of me for my weight loss. I couldn't believe she wanted her mom to go on a field trip of such magnitude with her, but she says she thinks I'm cool. She's taking me shopping tonight for my outfit. I thought that best. I wouldn't want to squash her thoughts of me. LOL Besides I have no clue how to dress to go to an amusement park now that I can actually fit on the rides. I may bring my camera and take pictures. Congrats on lowering your BMI and losing lots of weight. You are doing great and you look great.
I have shaved quiet a bit of my BMI also, not really sure how much.
Looking into the mirror is just an image reflection.
It’s all about how you feel inside.
I feel so healthy. I'm back to being very active.
The last time I felt this happy was when I was about 3 years old.
I just want to say one more time that you look absolutely GREAT!!!!!
