Hi everyone! I stumbled across a new protein source today, and gave it a try. It was pretty good, so I wanted to tell you all about it. It's called, "Bolthouse Farms Perfectly Protein". It's a vanilla Chai tea with soy protein. 10 grams or protein in 8 oz, sweetened with apple juice, and completely sugar free. I found it in King Kullen in Hampton Bays in the Organic foods section near the produce. It's $3.49 for 33.8 oz. It tastes a little like egg nog! I plan to make it into a shake with more vanilla protein powder and milk, to bump it up a notch. ;) BAM! lol! My girls have a surgery date of July 1st. They are PSYCHED! I, the dutiful Mom, have been shopping and finding tsty proteins for them. I think I am more prepared for them than I was for myself! I even bought baby food bowls that hold hot water, so their food stays warm for the 45 minutes it will take to eat it!! :D (remember that first cold scrambled egg? :p ) Anyway, enjoy.
