Great Meeting!!!!!!!

We had another great meeting last night. I haven't laughed that much since the last one. Dr. Lieberman - the visiting Psychiatrist had a lot of good insight on us and our problems with food. I could probably use quite a few visits of my own to him! Dr. Allam's slides of Peru were amazing and very emotional. What a wonderful gift they give those people - God will surely bless them for what they do!!! Like they say in another realm - keep coming back, it works if you work it!! Darla

Sorry I missed the meeting. I would have liked to see his slide show. God Bless Doctor Allam for his work he did over-seas !!!! One of my sons was born with a birth defect some 14 years ago (cleft lip-pallette)......I know the heartbreak those parents go through. We were lucky enough to be here in the United States to recieve the care for my son................Doctor Allam has changed lives with his gift of surgery.

I'm glad I got to attend the last support group meeting....it was like going home again! Being upstate has changed my life for the better, and I am SO glad I went home to family and friends. But I do miss all of you...I get downstate on business about every 6 weeks or so, and this time I scheduled it around the meeting so I could surprise Dr. Allam. It was wonderful to see everyone there...and especially wonderful to get a hug from Dr. Allam! Hopefully I'll be able to hit more meetings in the future...until then I will continue to check out the website on a regular basis to keep up on things. Keep up the great work everyone! I miss you!!

It is always nice to have as many people come to the meetings as possible, and you know that you are always welcome. Even if you can't make it you can keep in touch with the message board, and now that Regina has made it so much more user friendly it is a snap to say hi to everyone or just join in the chatter. You, being a veteran to the group it is always nice to have your input added to the conversation and we respect your thoughts and ideas.

So try to make as many meetings as you can, and you know that we will always be your second family.

Hi Jennifer, it is easy to send a private message I will explain to you how.

Click on the name of the person that you want to send the private message to. A box will drop down and just chose private message. It will take you to an area like this kind of to write your message. Before sending it off scroll down after the smiles and check off where it says Request a read receipt for this message. Then click send. It’s that simple. ;)
