Sympathy Needed

I'm sorry I wont be able to attend the support meeting tomorrow. One of my teenage sons friends has passed away in a tragic accident last week. At the young age of 20. Please keep the Fields family in all of your prayers. Also keep my sons graduating class in your prayers as well it is so hard to see these teenagers deal with a loss of one of their peers. :confused:

Usually in the past I would have turned to food for comfort in a stressful situation but I have done very well. I know now that I can turn to family and friends for comfort. I am so glad I had the lap band surgery --in only a few short weeks I have become a stronger person, and have learned that I no longer need food to numb emotions. Anyone else feel the same ????????????

I am also glad that you came here and posted instead of turning to food. We are all here for one another no matter what. If you need to talk you, let me know. I am a good listener even though I talk a lot.;)

Oh Connie I was so sorry to hear about your loss. The Fields family, and yours, as well as all his friends will be in my prayers. It is so very hard when one so young is taken. I pray their faith will get them and you through this extremely difficult time.

It is always such a shame when a young life is taken away from us and you know if you need anything not to hesitate to ask. Our thoughts will be with the Field family and with every one that will feel thier loss.

I will let you know what was going on at the meeting. Keep up the great frame of mind about not needing to use food as a crutch.
