I finally figured out why members were not able to do this and corrected the problem. I did check to make sure it can be done so if you have any problems please let me know.

Now here is how to do it:

Go to where it says USER CP Click that on. Look for where it says EDIT AVATARS Click that.

Another screen will appear. Look where it says Custom Avatars Make sure you click YES

Then click the browse button and go to where you have your pictures saved on YOUR COMPUTER. Click the image you want then click SAVE.

Your Avatar will show up in every post you make now.
So come on everyone lets see your Avatar.

Also if you choose not to use a photo of yourself that is OK. You can use any picture you have saved on your computer. It can be a cartoon character (example a picture of tigger, pooh or even Micky Mouse what ever you want) if you want. The choice is up to you.

Hi Regina,

Thanks for helping us learn how to use the avatar feature on the web. I am in the process of changing computers, and I haven't had a chance to transfer my pictures over yet, but when I do, I'll put one up. I am usually the one that takes the pictures, so it is hard finding a good one of me to put on the board.

Anyway, thanks again, and as always good work!!!!

Jamie

Hi Connie that is a great picture. The reason why some of your pictures might not have worked is because you need to use a picture that is a jpeg. You can not use raw or tiff. They are to large of a file.
