Hey, I found soy pasta at Wild by Nature today. It's called Whole Soybean Pasta by Nutrition Kitchen for $3.39/8oz box. It comes in black, green & golden. I got the golden because it looked the most "normal". It has 23Gms of protein per serving. I'll let you know how it tastes, having it tonight with stir fried chicken & asparagus. I will "mindfully" experience it & report back later. TTFN - Darla 060104315.

The pasta was OK - not great - just OK. The taste was good, but it had a rubbery consistency. Might be better with tomato sauce. I'm hoping the Shiratake Tofu Noodles that Isabell raved about are better. Hope there's some left at the store to try. Sounded like they were a hot buy. Q_DANC117. Here I go to see. Darla

The Shirutaki noodles are really good and a steal at less than 2 bucks for an 8oz. package. These do not have the protien of the noodles you are talking about though. I think of them as what to put sauce on or what to make as a side for scampi. As I said, I fed them to my kids and a dinner guest who went back for seconds and did not notice until I told them. They don't have that same floury texture as regular noodles. I didn't think they were rubbery though. You can get them at Wholley Natural in East Moriches on Montauk Hwy. If they don't have any when you get there (they are in the refigerated section in the back right of the store) they will order them for you. I did ask them to keep them in stock.
