I have a contact with a jewlery manufacturer that makes the MEDIC ALERTS im thinking of having them made for gastric Bypass.
I want some input.. i may bring Samples to the meeting in may.. for input .. help me out here girls what ya think..i dont see them anywhere i just see cards..
But god forbid you dont carry the card with you or dont have one..
input please... :confused:

Hey Brian I didn't know that we needed to have something like that. Now I feel dumb asking but what is the reason we need this for? This is the first I have heard of that for us. Am I the only one?:confused:

The above named patient has had gastric surgery which has reduced his/her stomach capacity to less than 3 ounces. Please keep this in mind in an emergency situation.

figure a medic alert braclet or charm will be better

In one of our support group meetings I asked if any of that was neccessary...and Dr allam said it was not......there is nothing that they can do as far as a rescue squad or anything like that that could hurt us.....
thats my input :confused:
