Ok folks,
I know it's been some time since I've added any milestones here.
I'm now down to 180 pounds from 250! I can't believe I cracked the 200 pound mark!!! I feel awesome & can actually look at myself in the mirror now (big news).
I refuse to buy new clothes, underwear & swimsuits just yet. I have to wait until they're just about falling off & I can burn them all! I also plan on going to the beach more often w/the girls this summer (yes, I'll buy a new swimsuit then).
I've cut myself back down to only 2 jobs. Yeah!
Matt & I are taking the girls in August to spend "A Day with Thomas the Tank" in Connecticut & the following day at Mystic Seaport (I've never been).
I still need to nap for an hour or two mid-day, but I truly think it's because of my nutty schedule.
We have a new addition to our family: A 3 yr old African Spur Thigh tortoise named Sizzle, who just turned 3 June 1st! The family loves him. He/she's only the size of your hand right now & I failed to mention to my mother that cute, adorable Sizzle will grow to the size of her coffee table & weigh 200 pounds when fully grown & will live up to 80 yrs old like our parrot (minor details).
I've managed to get down the inside of a burrito from Taco Bell yesterday. How exciting!
I find it a little odd that when I try to eat healthy foods, sometimes they don't agree. When I do sneak a sun chip or two in & I wait for the internal explosion to errupt, all is fine. Hmmmmmm......you'd think it would be the other way around.
3 weeks ago Johanna entered her first horse show of the year & placed first in both of her classes! her instructor said it was the best she's ever ridden! She came home w/2 blue ribbons, a gold medal & stuffed pony!
My girls have their ballet recital this weekend. Johann's 2nd & Alli's 1st. I think I'm more excited than they are!
Anyway, that's basically it for now. I will contribute more as it comes.
Cheers!
