After buying a specific shake for my surgery, the shake that I originally purchased I could not tolerate. So as usual I called Nannette in a panic. She suggested Isopure which you can by at GNC. I purchased this product in the pineapple, mango, banana flavor and let me tell you it is great. It is not thick. You can mix it with water and goes down very easy. Tastes like sherbert.

A very big THANK YOU. I can't tolerate milk-shakes. That I can mix it w/water or juice is awesome! Pineapple & mango?! Yum. One question.....I can never eat coconut again? Does that mean forever & does that also include anything w/a hint of coconut?

HeyAnita,
Glad I could help. In reference to coconut, I would check with Pat (nutrionist) to make sure. She is extremely helpful and is a life saver.
Thanks

I tried the Muscle Milk that was talked about at the last meeting & I love it!!! It's really delicious & I've tried alot of brands!!! I was a little leary because of the high calorie & fat content. But, it must burn as they say becauce I lost 5lbs this week!! Darla

Can you buy the Muscle Milk @ GNC as well? If so, I think I'll buy a little of everything to keep the variety going.

Yup - I got it at GNC. It was on sale this week - $25 instead of $41. Good deal!
I only use 1 scoop with 1 cup of milk for breakfast. I couldn't drink a double!! Keeps me happy untill lunch. Darla

Hi Anita,
It's not the FLAVOR of the coconut that is the issue, it is it's texture. It tends to be dry and flaky....the perfect recipe for potential problems. So, for the time being, coconut is a no-no. Sorry!
